- Situated in the centre of northern Laos, Luang Prabang is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its outstanding cultural, historic and architectural values and its harmonious relationship between the natural and built environment. In the 14th century, the King Fa Ngum founded the first Lao Kingdom, Lane Xang, here in Luang Prabang. Luang Prabang remained the capital of Lane Xang until 1565 when the capital was moved to Vientiane. It remained to serve as the country’s spiritual and religious centre.
You are welcomed to Luang Prabang where you are met by a Southern Breeze Travel representative and transferred from the airport to your hotel. The balance of your day is at leisure. In the evening, enjoy strolling through Luang Prabang’s fabulous night market where you can shop and bargain for unique handicrafts, having dinner and overnight in Luang Prabang.
Early morning, you will see long lines of monk in procession. After offering alms visit fresh market which local people go for shopping for daily life. Back to hotel for breakfast, take private car to visit old Royal Palace National museum, visit Wat Mai, Wat Xiengthong, Wat Visoun, Phousy Hill, Take Lao food for lunch at city restaurant.After noon, take private car to visit Kuangsy water fall the most famous water fall in Luang Prabang. On the way back to city visit Hmong village where you can buy gift from villager. Transfer to airport for departure. (End of tour).
